Hi everyone...
Last Tuesday August 4Th, the pathfinders gathered together to pack the truck with all the equipment we are sending to OSHKOSH....we had a great time...we packed everything that we thought we were going to need, of course once we get there we will find out that we left things that we needed and took others that we didn't.
We will try to update daily from OSHKOSH. Some days we will update more frequently with pictures and activities, so just keep in touch. Don't forget that we are also going to be updating the church website in Facebook at www.facebook.com/venturasda where most of the pictures are going to be uploaded. You can also receive updates via texting in your cell phone with Twitter at www.twitter.com/ventursda .
For now this is the itinerary:
Sunday 9Th - Mr. G, Kenton Andre and Adam will be leaving at 11:30am to Appleton, Wisconsin. Their main job is to set up camp for all of us and to purchase some of the perishable food then wait for the rest of us. (The truck with our equipment will arrive on Monday at 10am)
On Monday 10Th - The rest of us are leaving with Mrs G at 12:45pm from LAX, expected to arrive into Appleton at 9:00pm. We are all staying in a hotel that night, since no one is allowed into camp until the next day at noon.
Tuesday 11Th - We will get up and have some breakfast then move into camp to settle everyone, ready to start one of the biggest experiences of our lives.
Thank you to our parents as well as our church members for the support to make this a reality.
Please pray for us, that the Lord will keep us safe and that this trip can change our lives and help us have the "Courage to Stand" .
